The Sillage Collection is an independent entity and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any fragrance designer or manufacturer. All fragrances are decanted from their original, authentic bottles into our own atomizers for the purpose of sampling.

Are Your Fragrances Authentic?

All of our fragrances are 100% authentic. Each scent is hand-decanted from genuine products purchased directly from the manufacturer or through authorized retailers. We do not sell knockoffs, imitations, or altered fragrance formulations—ever.

What is Sillage?

Sillage, pronounced See-Yahzh, refers to the scented trail a fragrance leaves behind as you move. It is the impression your fragrance makes, how it lingers in the air and is noticed by others. Sillage can be soft and intimate or bold and expressive, depending on the fragrance’s composition and how it is worn.

What Are Niche Fragrances?

Niche fragrances are crafted by perfume houses that specialize exclusively in fragrance. These scents are often produced in smaller batches and emphasize artistry, high-quality ingredients, and distinctive compositions. Because of their craftsmanship, ingredient quality, and limited production, niche fragrances are typically priced higher than mainstream options, making decants an ideal way to explore them without committing to a full bottle.

What Are Designer Fragrances?

Designer fragrances are created by well-known fashion or luxury brands and are generally more widely available. They are designed with broad appeal in mind, balancing familiarity with elegance. Designer fragrances are typically more accessible in price than niche scents, while still offering quality and sophistication, making them a popular entry point into fine fragrance.

How Many Sprays Can I Expect From Each Decant?

3 mL: ~50 sprays
5 mL: ~80 sprays
10 mL: ~160 sprays

Spray counts are approximate and may vary slightly depending on the atomizer and individual usage.

When Can I Expect My Order to Ship?

We process and ship all orders within 3 business days.
Weekend orders will be fulfilled on the next business day.

All shipments are sent via UPS from Gaithersburg, MD.

You will receive a tracking number via e-mail once your order has shipped so you can follow it from our door to yours.

What is Your Return Policy?

Due to the nature of our products, returns are generally not accepted. However, your satisfaction is our priority. If you experience any issues with the condition of your decant(s) upon delivery, please contact us at customercare@thesillagecollection.com within 3 business days so we can promptly address your concerns and make it right.

Do You Offer International Shipping?

Perfumes are generally restricted for international air transport. For this reason, we are only able to ship within the continental U.S. at this time.

What Shipping Methods Do You Offer?

Due to carrier regulations on alcohol-based (hazmat) products, all fragrance orders are shipped via ground transportation.
